VERY STYLISH DUNHILL LIGHTER THAT IS A SILVER COLOUR AND IS RIBBED (LINED). WHEN THE LID IS OPEN AT THE FRONT IS MARKED "DUNHILL". ON THE BASE - DUNHILL REG D. GRG DES No 855346. PAT NO 466087 PAT. APP. 16352/48. MADE IN ENGLAND. THE SIZE IS approx 1 1/4” by 1 3/4” tall.
Rare Vintage Dunhill Rollalite Petrol Lighter C.1950 Reg. 855346.
This stunning little Dunhill lighter is a very scarce example of the petrol Rollalite.
Overall condition is generally very good. There are a couple of blemishes & rubbed plating with age which I have tried to capture in the photos, so please do check the photos carefully.
Filling screw in the bottom.
The flint is used at the top next to the friction wheel
This lighter features an enamel medallion on the front with image of a Bull (perhaps for the Taurus in your life).
